Many of you know the story of Swanky Steer but for those who don’t, it’s truly one of God’s goodness. In the fall of 2017, Kristen was diagnosed with breast cancer and didn’t know what the future would hold as it was very aggressive and the tumor was large. God healed her body, and prepared her for a future with tons of blessings. Each Friday in the chemo chair, Erica would accompany her, helping her to keep laughing and bringing tokens of love -magazines, earrings, books, shoes, purses, donuts, and more to take her mind off of the poison going into her body. They began talking about starting a small traveling boutique, as they both love all things fashion.  In May of 2018 they set up shop as their dream became true. Buying a box trailer, completely outfitting it as a show room, they hit the road for four years popping up at festivals, yards, churches, and many other venues that asked them to be a part of small business events. They met the most precious people who have become the dearest of friends. Nothing brings more happiness than to hear the words from a lady’s mouth- “you made me feel beautiful again”.

In 2022, Kristen and Erica were given an opportunity to open a brick and mortar, downtown Fountain Inn, South Carolina.  After less than a year in the cutest little shop, a building three doors down became available.  Lots of love and craftsmanship went into making this space our FOREVER home.
